WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
The ability to communicate clear instructions in the classroom is a valuable skill, which must be developed like any other. Yet, too often this facility receives little attention in the context of training teachers. In part one of this two-part series, we will discuss some reasons giving instructions is so important for students, how we can avoid common mistakes and reflect on how we deliver directions in our own classrooms. Participants will also get hands-on experience giving instructions for various activities.
